Dana Mattice

Grants Writer / Communications Specialist


Dana Mattice joined Artspace Projects in 2017 as Grants Writer/Communications Specialist. Passionate about spotlighting inspiring people and projects, Dana connects those stories to funders, media outlets, and communities. Dana brings a decade of arts nonprofit experience and was previously the Interim Executive Director and Development & Communications Director at the Duluth Art Institute. Prior to relocating to Minnesota, Dana lived in Houston, Texas, and was the Publicist for the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where she was named “Best Flack” by the Houston Press. Originally from Wisconsin, Dana majored in Art and English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Dana lives in Saint Paul and, in her free time, enjoys reading novels, visiting galleries, cooking, hiking and camping with her dog, and traveling.
